Learn Wilderness First Aid, Wilderness First Responder and WEMT upgrade
Come to a special all-day class in Wilderness First Aid sponsored by the Sierra Club Bay Chapter Activities Committee. WFR and WEMT Upgrade offers professional-level training in emergency care for wilderness or any other situation, and is open to everybody.

Beginner hikes
In March, Diane Smith of the Mount Diablo Group and Sierra Singles will lead a series of progressively more difficult hikes to introduce the beginning hiker to the rewards of hiking.

Backpack Beginners Course
Take a course addressed to people with little or no experience in backpacking but who want to explore backcountry trails and get away from the crowds.
