The Sierra Club urges east Contra Costa voters to re-elect Federal Glover as District V supervisor.
Federal Glover has been good on the environment andvery accessible to environmental activists. He has been a very strong advocate for the Urban Limit Line, and even took on the leadership of his home city of Pittsburg by opposing and contributing financially to the effort to defeat a developer's phony urban-limit-line (ULL) ballot measure, which unfortunately won by a small margin. He is the only strong advocate for the ULL running for the seat. He has also stood up to the refineries.
Glover is very accessible and calls environmentalists when there is an issue he thinks we might be interested in. Even when he disagrees with us, he tries to find common ground between environmental groups and other interests.
Glover was endorsed by the Sierra Club last term, and has served well. We ask that you vote for him again.
